GARDEN TIME . . .

Well yes i'm loving my garden this year we weren't in our new house last Spring/Summer so we were not able to take advantage of our beutiful sunny vege patch but this year. . . . . It is great having most things covered to save them from pesky chickens and birds! we have nearly filled the whole garden just a few spaces left for red onions and an egg plant and cucumber so now it is just a matter of watering and weeding and reaping the rewards we hope!! We have already used 5 lettuces and i need to make it my mission to plant lettuces every few weeks to keep it in constant supply. The girls cant wait to pick the peas and they will them to grow every day!!

Life is a BEACH sometimes .. . . .. .

This is another day at another glorious beach-Goughs Bay which is about 1/2 an hour away from our lovely beach. The only down side is the trip through what seems like a gizzilion gates through a farmers land to get there but the fantastic upside is that you have the whole beach to yourselves-and sometimes a seal or 2! Jonny has renewed his love of surfing so i foresee a whole lot more time spent at beaches this summer so im not complaining about that at all-may even have to don a wetsuit myself and have a go!!!

Lasagne and Eclairs

Good thing about being snowed in is the opportunity to get bossed into making eclairs by the children!! thanks girls. . . . . rather delicious. Homemade lasagne is another nice thing to make while stuck inside I reckon too x

STAIRS

we had a few of the cousins round yesterday for lunch and Willow was home from school due to her cast being removed(finally) the day before-zoe was here as well which was quite well planned on the girls behalf!!-anyway I think they played all day on the stairs they had a great game set up with their Sylvanian families and hopefully from the photos you can see all the pulley systems and other mechanisms they had set up ahhhhhh the simple things in life . . . . . . .

Today me and my sister made mozzarella and it was very successful a you can see from the rather large stretch!!

blog update finally!!!

well well well here I am again have had several attempts at uploading photos to here but have had epic fails each time so thought I would jut write something instead which is a little tricky too as lovely willow spilt juice on our keypad so now everytime you want to type an s it has to be copy and pasted!! arghhhhh!!
THINGs WE HAVE BEEN UP TO:
-moving house-yeeha moved to Le Bons Bay where I grew up and my sister and mum and dad live
-crocheting-making noughts and crosses and pass the pigs-will try to get pics up
-tomatoes-making pasta and tomato sauce
-garden-planting winter veges-broccoli,cabbage,cauliflower and lettuce
-broken bones-willow had a fall at school and broke both the bones in her wrist so had to spend a night in hopital and go to theatre to have it manipulated back into place-arghhhh-all good now in cat up to armpit but coping well and enjoying her time off school!!!
-housework-getting our house finished off and ready to be rented out which was successful

All in all very buy and tiring but we are all finally getting settled into our new place and loving every minute of living in the bay. xx
