well these are pretty dodgy photos but kids had scooted out the door before i had a chance to ask them to take pics! I am wearing floral though and to tell you the truth i dont really do floral not really my cup of tea and i think this is the only floral thing i own anyway Dress-from Ca'Bouge a shop over here in Akaroa-rather expensive but liked the retro look, tights from Farmers and not sure if you can see my boots but they are the ones I tend to wear every Wednesday it would seem

cup cakes for my beautiful girls 13th

Today is felixes 13th birthday WOW i cant believe how quickly she has grown up anyway we are out for tea tonight and instead of a birthday cake she requested cup cakes so I thought I would try out some flash Hokey Pokey ones and yum they turned out well complete with rich caramel frosting and crushed up crunchie bar on top!

wardrobe wednesday

Well I didnt partake in wardrobe wednesday last week had been laid up with a nasty flu all week and was only just regaining some of my energy!-I think I am quite possibly one of the worlds worst patients lie around sobbing bout how i'm going to die!!! Ha Ha and guess what I actually didnt!-anyway today I have tights-stolen from my daughter, Roxy skirt from trademe and my shirt is from my sister. My favourite birkenstock sandals also from trademe last summer and jewels courtesy of my sometimes romantic Jonny! Still looking slightly concerned in top photo maybe its the sun hmmmmmm

Mt Everest

This is my Mt Everest sized pile of washing that I need to fold and put away today. I find it satisfying to hang out bring in and fold but i LOATHE putting it away there never seems to be enough room hence the piles of clothes on top of drawers and on the floor!!!
