Decided to have another go at knitting, used to be a knitter but get to impatient so swapped to crochet-grows much faster! This is going to be an a-line jacket for Willow. . . . . . .
Try knitting things for littlies.ONLY. As in exclusively. They knit up so quickly AND yet you still feel so extremely accomplished. I have made the boys vests, hats, scarves, and recently mittens. It's GREAT. Oh and making up your own patterns (so you don't need to pay attention to gauge and tension) so much better! And making the pattern "interesting" by adding cables and stitch variations in there - just makes it seem to go so much faster too :D
