still raining

well what can I say it is still raining! poos and wese I am actually well over it now. Have just spent the last two days in Christchurch at School and had to battle with beastly driving conditions so it is sooooo nice to be home again at least for now anyway back in to school again tomorrow. Yah another sister with a blog go Jen-so totally addictive!!! Kids made amazing cup cakes today so will post a photo when I get a spare minute ha ha probably Monday x

Paninis

I JUST USE THE BASIC WHITE BREAD RECIPE FROM THE EDMONDS COOK BOOK-COULD MAKE THEM HALF AND HALF WITH WHOLEMEAL-AFTER FIRST RISING PUNCH OUT AIR AND KNEAD AGAIN THEN BREAK UP INTO 6 EVEN PIECES AND ROLL INTO SHAPE YOU WANT PUT ONTO FLOURED TRAY AND LET RISE FOR ABOUT 15 MINS THEN COOK IN A HOT OVEN(200) FOR 10 MINS eASY pEASY

Cheese Studel





CHEESE STRUDEL:
250gms cottage cheese, 2 TBSPS Sour Cream, 125gms grated cheese, 2 Eggs, 1 Onion-chopped finely, Salt/Pepper, Two sheets of flakey pastry

Put all ingrediants into a bowl and mix. Place filling onto one sheet of pastry (on baking tray) moisten edges, place top piece of pastry on and seal edges well. Brush the top with water and sprinkle well with sesame seeds (optional) Bake in a hot oven for 35 mins. Serve with salad or coleslaw.

COLD COLD COLD


Brrr it is freezing today-was just about to say at least its stopped raining when low and behold down comes the HAIL arghhh winter eh. Run out of fabric at the moment so not much creating going on today will have to get back onto trademe me thinks. Baked paninis yesterday turned out fantastic and were turned into delicious steak sandwiches-one of our familys favourite dinners-YUM............. With all the rain there has been lots of creating going on in Jonnys shed will post photos soon

This is my all time favourite plant The New Zealand native kaka beak so beautiful. Saw it for the first time at one of my besties-jackies house and had too have one now have 3 in my garden they come in a couple of different colours but i only have it in red. Another one came from my great friend meghann ahhh arent friends fantastic


OH THE JOYS OF RAIN AE WASNT SO LONG AGO I WAS HOPING FOR A BIT OF RAIN YOU KNOW GOOD FOR THE GARDEN AND ALL THAT NOW HMMM SORT OF WISH IT WOULD STOP! GIVEN ME A CHANCE TO PUT SOME PHOTOS UP THOUGH SO THATS GOOD I SUPPOSE..... HAVE ALSO BLANKET STITCHED AROUND FELIXES NEW SCHOOL BAG WHICH IS A SLIGHT ACHIEVEMENT........ALSO DECIDED ON CHEESE STRUDEL FOR TEA YUM AND KIDS HAVE REQUESTED SELF SAUCING PUDDING SO THAT WILL HELP FILL IN THE REST OF THE DAY

These are a couple of skirts that I have made recently. very easy too sew although the green wrap around proved to be a disaster first off although i think i can put that down to sewer error as it turned out as big as a bus! therefore had to unpick hmmmm i hate that very frustrating. The a line was very simple and quite effective once screen printed i thought.
